In 2025, we worked on further building and expanding the foundations for our association's work. The new board has questioned and adapted processes and structures, developed goals, and initiated first projects. With the beginning of 2026, our work should now become more visible.
The focus is primarily on three major projects. We are supporting the acquisition of a new organ for our church and, thanks to donations and membership fees, making it possible to acquire one with an additional third manual. With the other two projects, we are investing in the future of our congregation – a "youth cabin" is being built in the church garden, and the garden itself is to be partially redesigned after great preparatory work last year. The focus is on usability for the entire congregation, but especially on making our beautiful garden more child and family-friendly.
We will of course provide detailed information about all projects in due time. As always – active and financial participation are warmly welcome, feel free to contact the board!
Organ Project – New Third Manual
Our church is getting a new organ! To complete the instrument with a third manual, we are collecting donations. A third manual significantly expands the tonal possibilities and enriches our services and concerts.
Garden Project – Play Area for Children
Our church garden is getting a play area for children! We are planning a child-friendly space where the little ones can play while parents attend community events. A meeting place for the whole family.
Cabin Project – Space for Youth
We are converting the cabin in our garden into a meeting place for young people. Here, young people will have their own space to meet, be creative, and experience community. An important project for the future of our congregation.
Grant from Sparkasse Hamburg
We are very pleased about a generous grant of €2,000 from Sparkasse Hamburg for our "Cabin" project! This funding brings us a big step closer to realizing our youth space. Many thanks to Sparkasse Hamburg!
Foundation of the Association
On 25 September 2022, our association was officially founded! With great joy and commitment, dedicated members came together to support and promote our church and congregation. This marks the beginning of our joint work for the preservation and development of our community.
